This 12 disc box set is the definitive collection of Pauline Oliveros' early and unreleased electronic work. Sequenced chronologically by the studios that she worked in, this illustrates not only her vast catalogue and contribution to electronic music, but also provides a comprehensive overview of the evolution of early electronic music itself. Released in conjunction with her 80th birthday celebrations, there are extensive liner notes including essays by Alex Chechile, Ramon Sender, David Bernstein, Corey Arcangel and Pauline Oliveros herself. This is an archive of one of the most influential composers within electronic music, and requires a serious amount of deep listening.
