Veteran producer and long-time Nice ‘N’ Ripe cohort, Jeremy Sylvester, originally released ‘Shaken Not Stirred EP’ way back in 1998, a classic in the land of old-school garage style. With optimised energy and shuffling rhythms, Sylvester takes us back to the heyday. Beats come raw and unprocessed, vocals cut-up and sliced and energy prime for the dance floor. Stand-out track, ‘Check One’, hears piano keys and real late-90s vigour.
