Norwegian duo Röyksopp dust off a later period classic with this new reissue of 2014’s The Inevitable End on their own Dog Triumph imprint. While the towering Robyn collaboration ‘Monument’ stands tall on its own, The Inevitable End offers plenty more treats for fans of virtually any style of electronic music. Warm and resonant trance-like synths open ‘Sordid Affair’ before folding into supple and moody mid tempo electropop, while the tense ‘Running To The Sea’ flips that script, opening with solemn piano chords before morphing into a steady techno pulse.
