Green-House’s Six Songs For Invisible Gardens is a record very much in the vein of Mort Garson’s Mother Earth’s Plantasia. Like Garson’s beloved 1976 LP, this music was written with the intention that it should be a soundtrack for humans communing with plant life. Project mastermind Olive Ardizoni creates beautiful, tranquil new age ambiences here, combining gentle keyboard pulses with found soundscapes on most of the numbers. With their comparatively lively synth parts, the two tracks in the mid-section of Six Songs For Invisible Gardens arguably steer even closer to the Plantasia sound than the other parts of the album.
