One would like to think that the child-on-sleeve is Dutch producer Dave Huisman's (A Made Up Sound) at an early age. Reaching for the dials, engulfed in records and discs, searching for that next sound. Regardless this is him, fully grown, displaying this self released record as 2562, his third such LP. Bristling with rhythmatic invention Husimans glides us through sweet, swung-out house, futurist Millsian techno and shuffling Martyn esque 2-step. Underpinning it all is an undefinable soul; perhaps gathered as a result of the sampling processes involved- every single kick, hat, lick - taken/processed from olde disco records.
