For many decades Austria has been building its reputation for delivering unique and diverse electronic musicians. One of the longest running Viennese labels 'Cheap' is now presenting the invigorating debut of a young Austrian producer, Dibek. While he is running his own label 'Phlox' with renowned producers Gerhard Potuznik and Hans Platzgumer, he managed to put together an exciting release for Cheap - three versatile tracks, ranging from Detroit techno to Indietronics and ambient, engraving his compelling sound aesthetics on the Kaerntner Street of fame. We will surely hear a lot more from Discovery Dibek in the years to come, however this record alone enriches the wide realms of Austrian electronica.
