Berlin’s Patterns of Perception presents their visionary first release with Australian producer Nali through the four expansive grooves of ‘Chance Encounters’. Its title track immediately ticks all ends of the sonic spectrum, with a steady thumping kick and shimmering metallic hats illuminating a deep spatiality. As it intricately unfolds, the following tracks ‘Skyline’ and ‘Gwen’ proceed to shift with seductively toxic acid-bass and heavenly realms of synth. By the final moments of ‘Nomadic Life’’s warm ambience, Nali’s sounds are proved to be as airily psychedelic as infectiously hard-hitting.
