Bristolian supergroup with their debut release on Invada which comprises the twin talents of Billy Fuller and Matt Williams forged together with Portishead's Geoff Barrow. Their self titled record is a brooding ode to the myriad influences of Doom rockers' Sunn 0))), the Kraut of Neu!, th epost-rock of Godspeed... and the psych rock of United States of America. Underpinning the surface gloom are Ian Curtis like baritone vocals and some often infectious moments of melody... The sound of the next Portishead album?
