The ever inventive Beak> tap into a more retro sound on their sci-fi, 70s inspired soundtrack for KOSMIK MUSIK. The companion to an action-packed space opera manifested as a graphic novel by artist Joe Currie and writer Ben Wheatley, this soundtrack drifts between hushed, tense synth theatrics and driving krautrock jams. Spiralling signals fade into views, building tension with ominously cut clips of heavy breathing, before a churning guitar vortex erupts, winding through rickety beats and suspenseful synthwave, dramatically crushing drums, and thundering arpeggios colouring KOSMIK MUSIK’s psychedelic worlds.
