Gritty, nineties-entrenched hip-hop cuts from Berlin based label Jupiter4. Kicking off with ‘Follow The Leader’, DJ Akoza employs vocal lines and motifs from the likes of Bahamadia, which are then rhythmically scratched and strewn across clean boombap beats. The title track ‘Dog U Out’ gets the remix treatment three times over from Cyan85, DJ Normal 4 and Mutant Joe - taking the tracks main vocal hook into electro, breaks & mutant jungle territory.
