Robert Haigh and Simon McCutcheon dip into their Persons Unknown vault and bring up some previously unreleased and totally unheard drum and bass tracks that really encapsulate where the genre was at during the 1990s. As such, ‘Klanger’ and ‘Trans Machina’ deliver stuttering beats and breaks across glossy pads, giving off the idea of perpetual movement, while ‘Faith Healer’ adds a beautifully simple piano element to the mix, as the amen break stop-starts as it pleases.
