A trawler of modern sonic artefacts as much as he is a groove-driven arranger of the spoils, UK producer Nicholas Worrall aka Wordcolour splices the fabulously multi-coloured Tell Me Something with the noise of our crowded reality. Playful techno rhythms burst out of the glassy tones and unidentifiable vocal samples (a film, a YouTube clip?) of ‘Kicking & Screaming’ and the sugary sweet 4/4 pulse of the title track.
