In late 2018, composer and violinist Laura Cannell was commissioned by The Wapping Project to capture the resonances inside Wapping Hydraulic Power Station. Over two days of improvising and recording, Cannell came up with The Earth With Her Crowns, a striking LP of organic tone poems blending classical sensibilities and folk intimacy contained in the inimitable reverberations of a unique space; a real one off treat.
