Dreamy, dub-flecked hypnagogic pop from Ethimm on new EP Golden Days. There are some delightfully melodious grooves here that remind one of premier pop auteurs The Cardigans, a link strengthened by the sun-dappled singing on cuts like ‘Golden Days’ and ‘Over & Out’. There’s also a touch of Caribou’s motorik-flecked torch-songs to the record while joints like ‘Echoes In The Distance’ increase the tension with steady Nordic disco beats. A heady listen.
