Sian Alice Group is an assimilation of members of Spiritualized and NYCs Gang Gang Dance - not forgetting Sian herself. This album debut, '59:59', is a dark, Beardsley-esque world of lace-trimmed, gothic-folk.

In parts, it's comparable to the playful, multi-instrumental, Scando-pop of Efterklang or Hawk and a Hacksaw, but also has the driving, primal edge of The Creatures. However it may be compared, '59:59' is drama from start to finish. Highly recommended!
