'Jean Giraud' is a krautrock style moog disco suite in the same spirit as Black Devil but with a heartfelt, weathered moog sound that bears close resemblance to early Boards of Canada. It's gorgeous and quite epic.
On the b side things get even more swinging with the awesome Brennan Green mix of the track. He take the original and develops it into a luxuriant cosmic groove, replete with African drums, delicate synths and guitar figures, a bit like a more disco, cosmic E2 E4. It's a brilliant record overall.
