Akasha System returns to 100% Silk after a three-year absence with a typically lovely set of fourth-world electronics. Recent records from Khotin, RAMZi and Roza Terenzi are recalled by the verdant Echo Earth. While the album is largely made up of club tracks, entries like ‘Sunbreather’ and ‘Sunken Relics’ keen along with a pleasingly unhurried wistfulness that makes them excellent for bedroom listening too. While Echo Earth is out through 100% Silk, it wouldn’t have sounded out of place on a label like Planet Euphorique or 12th Isle.
