Cork’s Colm K is back on Tiff’s Joints with a set of typically robust deep house joints. KFU(RN) is anchored by meaty production throughout, something that particularly benefits the livelier cuts here. ‘Lady’ and ‘Apart’, for instance, have the potential to replicate the impact of Daphni’s effervescent Sizzling EP. Colm K shows good range as KFU(RN) goes on - closer ‘Diffraction’ shuffles like ‘Lady’ but is deeper and woozier than the previous tracks.
