This rather great 2 disc compilation serves as a brilliant summary of electronic music in Australia. Australia isn't a place you'd usually really think of producing good electronic music, but then if you look at some of the names on the compilation, Tim Koch, Pimmon, Oren Ambrachi, Clue To Kalo, Alan Lamb, you realise there are some quite well known names as well as some lesser well known ones, who are equally well represented on this cd. There is an a great deal of diversity and skill in these pieces, Sue Harding for instance records a dot matrix printer, whilst Alan Lamb uses telephone wires in the outback to compose his piece, whilst Clue to Kalo records gentle laptop folk. A very good overview of a little explored scene.
