Debutant J Chrysalis steps out on Blank Mind with this two-tracker. A-side ‘A Kind Robin’ comes off like a more focussed version of Joe’s releases on Hessle Audio while ‘Latent Space’ works some gqom into the sound on the flip. While they may differ stylistically, both ‘A Kind Robin’ and ‘Latent Space’ have a warmth to their production that has us thinking of some of Idle Hands’ more recent output.
