Another set of MPC grime from Lemzly Daze’s Pearly Whites label here. This time it’s the turn of mysterious producer Invader Space to serve up a set of fusion-grime instrumentals. These riddims knock about at 140 bpm, making them easy to blend into an Eski set - indeed, it’s no surprise to find Lyrical Strally spitting bars over opener ‘Warm’. However, the way that plush soul samples are diced up here is also reminiscent of the soulful hip-hop beats of J Dilla and early Kanye West.
