Ride those arpeggiators! London-based musician and DJ Kit Grill is certainly happy to on Surface EP. When he isn’t presenting on NTS, he’s slowly but surely been observing numerous sonic blocks of marble, chisel in hand, waiting to chip away at the perfect spot. ‘Acting’ and ‘Parallel’ are tight body workouts, aglow with kinetic energy without so much as breaking a sweat. ‘Colour Channel’ and ‘888’ are measurably more chilled, a brief breather, still buzzing from the adrenaline rush.
