Church’s various artists EPs Volumes never fail to offer up the best in deep house, and 004 is no different on that front. Igor B, Wasserfall & Vaage, Leon Revol and U-I are the quartet of contributing artists, and each of their jams is a superbly classy bit of club fodder. U-I slows the tempo down a bit on ‘Duo Decim’ - a track that could be mistaken for something from London’s resurgent neo-soul scene - but everything else here is the sort of warm, rolling DJ tool you’ve come to expect from Church.
