Fly By Night (Giorgio Luceri, Cole Medina) front a new edit of Bergo’s ‘Kalimba’ from label boss Lorenzo Bandiera. The single-side, hand-stamped drop is a gorgeous bit of slo-mo Balearicism. In Bandiera’s hands the original tune is spun out into a gorgeous, wistful sunset groove. Hovering at around the 100 bpm-mark, the track’s tuned percussion motifs and trailing reverbs make ‘Kalimba (Calypso Edit)’ the sort of psychedelic club tune that works best in the sunshine but will still do good business all year round.
