Kid Koala remains on his ambient tip with the second of his Music To Draw To compilations. As with 2017’s Satellite, Io is a selection of lush electronic soundscapes that nod to the likes of Boards Of Canada, Olafur Arnalds and Biosphere. Where Satellite saw the former battle DJ teaming up with Emiliana Torrini, on Io we find Belgian singer Trixie Whitley contributing her delicate vocals to roughly a third of the cuts.
