Way back in 2004 Paul Kalkbrenner was just 23 and he released this record his debut for Berlin's Bpitch Control. Superimpose takes its turn to be sharp, snorting, pristine electro one minute then banging Detroit techno the next, followed by deep, soulful and moody house vibrations. A remarkably mature, constantly evolving effort,  subtly changing the landscape of Berlin electronic music.
