Church (Gnork, Folamour) drop a collaborative release between producer DJ Malcolm and keyboardist Dabriel Garius. The two tunes here are smooth, colourful jams that bring in plenty of jazz influences while keeping their feet firmly on the dancefloor. ‘Lulo’ and ‘Guava’ are both built on sturdy deep house foundations from Malcolm - the former has a slight breaks feel to it while the latter skitters away on a busy Latin-influenced groove. Garius then puts the cherry on top with some delightful licks on the keys.
