After some impressive releases on labels like 1080p and Pacific Rhythm, Canadian producer D. Tiffany makes the move into label management with her new Planet Euphorique imprint. The first PE drop sees Tiffany inhabiting her DJ Zozi alias and linking with Melbourne up-and-comer Roza Terenzi. Anyone familiar with their respective solo work will come into this EP expecting slinky, slightly lo-fi deep house of the highest quality, and PE001 doesn’t disappoint. ‘World Off’ and ‘Half Moon Bay’ are particularly affecting in their wistful beauty. On the B-side ‘Strobe Mountain’ and ‘G Step’ keep the vibe chill while incorporating elements of breaks, acid house and bleep ‘n’ bass.
