A return to Bedouin Records for Dez Williams yields an EP of seasick electro slammers. ‘Failnot’ kicks off Against Your Will with a John Carpenter-esque bassline and busy beats; ‘Familiar Circumstances’ has a bit of a Lynchian feel to it while also bringing some slow breakbeats into play; ‘Hexciya’ makes good on the title’s allusions to Stinson and Donald; and ‘Swollen’ follows ‘Hexciya’s lead. Against Your Will finds the Elektronik Religion head exploring his love of Detroit dance music with devilish glee.
