Astral Black have proven a dab hand at providing good-quality grime since its inception in 2013. To a roster that numbers releases from Drae Da Skimask and Rapture 4D they can now add upstart three-piece YGG. ‘Strikers’, a tune that has been doing the rounds for a couple of years now, proves a track worthy of the Astral Black seal of approval. Atop a buoyant Eskimo riddim the trio display superb energy, ad libbing for each other as well as exchanging bars with a chemistry reminiscent of early Roll Deep. Anyone with their mind on doing a remix will be pleased to hear that this drop comes equipped with both acapella and instrumental.
