Since its release in 1991, Earth Leakage Trip’s Psychotronic EP has become both an essential release in UK rave history. Psychotronic hit the market as ravers began exploring beyond the scene’s origins in house music, delivering three propulsive tracks that captured the rising interest in experimental strains of acid house and drum and bass. Lead track ‘No Idea’ is a particularly playful staple of the era, balancing its woozy production with samples from the children’s record An Adventure in the Land of Ooog.
