The legendary 'lost' album My Squelchy Life by Brian Eno receives a much needed vinyl issue from Opal. Originally set for release in 1991 by Warner Bros My Squelchy Life was pulled from the release schedule at the last moment, fast-forward fourteen years and countless bootleg pressings, Opal do justice and issue a beautifully packaged gatefold LP edition. The music found within is the perfect blend of early 90's Eno records of the time, mixing the synth-pop structure of his collaboration with ex Velvet Underground member John Cale on Wrong Way Up and the ambience surrounding his next LP proper, the recently reissued Nerve Net. My Squelchy Life is a wonderfully experimental pop album and will turn the heads of old fans whilst acting as a great doorway for fans of new into the strange and psychedelic world of Eno and his Squelchy Life.
