Welcome to the Bleep Weekly Roundup, our guide to the best new releases.

Our album of the week is from James Holden returning to Border Community. Culminating on his history as an artist so far, Imagine… is an epic collage of energies, allowing its tracks to build patiently, exploring all paths of psychedelic, delicately embroidered threads of synth melodies, allowing listeners to “reconnect with the feelings of hope, freedom and possibility”.

Tresor finalise their epic and essential Drexciyan reissue journey with the much sought after James Stinson project, Shifted Phases available on Bleep exclusive limited green vinyl. Altered Sense hit us with a double dose of deep rave plates from The Jaffa Kid and Bufo Bufo drenched in acid streaked bass and dusty breakbeats. And continuing the trip, Om Unit brings us four tracks of forward-thinking club music featuring his signature sound, taking in elements of Acid, Broken Beats, UK Techno and Dubbed out atmospheres.

Kassa Overall is a welcome addition to the forward thinking Warp Records roster looking to take things even further. With an impressive list of collaborators and credits under his belt, the NYC by way of Seattle artist merges jazz, beats, rap, and his virtuosic drumming, getting personal and even more irreverent of genres on his third album ANIMALS. Also announced this week, Scottish producer Jordan Stanley makes his Bytes debut with a new LP entitled A Cry For The Moon, built up from tiny samples of pop music so distorted as to erase their identity, Stanley uses these tools to recreate classic dance tropes with a modernist twist.

Enjoy!
