Welcome to the Bleep Weekly Roundup, our guide to the best new releases. Our album of the week is Bjarki's 'Psychotic_Window', a collection of moody, sombre tracks that are unlike what we’ve previously been used to from the Icelandic producer. Our EP of the week is by Bewwip on the fantastic Analogical Force label.

Even though it's the last release week before Christmas there are still tons of brilliant releases and products hitting the shelves. Watch out for a couple of superb releases on Exalt Records by Steven Rutter and Russ Gabriel respectively, the return of Mim Suleiman on Running Back, at long last the vinyl version of Stine Janvin's album on PAN, FaltyDL making his debut on Studio Barnhus and a new edition of Sueño Latino with Manuel Gottsching performing E2-E4 to check out.

We've also been continuing our run of Bleep Exclusives for advent that this week included a Disciples mixtape and T-shirt, a run of limited edition prints by Al White of 12th Isle, Call Super and A Winged Victory For The Sullen and two cassettes from Folklore Tapes and Placid on I Love Acid respectively.

Finally, be sure to check pre-orders from Anunaku and Ghostly International, as well as a new Bleep mix from N.M.O., the first edition of a brilliant new magazine called Maggot Brain.

Oh, and enjoy the holidays!

Bjarki – Psychotic_Window

Back in early 2019 some of those who got their hands on Bjarki’s debut LP Happy Earthday received a pleasant surprise. Along with the main album, people who purchased Happy Earthday’s box set edition were treated to a selection of bonus beats. Now, as the year draws to a close, those additional tracks have been gathered for a standalone release under the title Psychotic_Window. The Icelandic producer informs us that the title of this LP is to be taken literally, a reflection of the fact that these numbers all emerged from a rather bleak time in his life. As such, it’s no surprise to find that Psychotic_Window is a fair bit moodier than what we’ve come to expect from the bbbbbb Records boss.

Bewwip – E Drive EP

After a couple of releases on Occult Research, Bewwip now debuts on Analogical Force with the E Drive EP. Across these five tracks we find Bewwip evolving the sonic style of those legendary mid-2000s releases that Aphex Twin/AFX dropped via Analord. This is a set of squiggling IDM-electro that occasionally lets its freak flag fly.
