Fragmentos sees Florentino come through with six more tracks of seductive club fare which hybridise the sounds of his ancestral home of Columbia with British club styles. There are elements of reggaeton, grime, dancehall, future r&b and more in the heady broth of Florentino’s sound. The ace up Florentino’s sleeve is being able to combine rhythm tracks of real dancefloor intent with psychedelic and sensual melodies. It’s no surprise to see him collaborating with future superstar Bad Gyal on lead single ‘Por Ti’, a smoky banger reminiscent of the dembow tracks on Future Brown’s LP.
