Yet another cracking neo-disco number to emerge from the fertile plains of the Norwegian clubsphere here. Bjorn Torske, of course, is one of the producers who has defined the cheeky Scandinavian club sound which has been taken worldwide in the past few years by artists like Todd Terje and Lindstrom. Torske is at the top of his game on this frisky two-track. ‘Kickrock’, with its Latin-disco drums and highly funky bassline, could be one of the dancefloor anthems of 2018. On the flip, ‘Blue Call’ brings the tempo down a notch and allows Torkse to show off his love of both dub and Balearic house.
