Joker’s Kapsize Records turns ten this year, and the label are readying a trio of releases in celebration of the milestone. Seeing as Kapsize has largely served as a space for Joker to put out his own music, it’s fitting that the first drop should come courtesy of the label boss. It’s also apt that ‘Anamorphic’ and ‘Forever’ should be, even by Joker’s standards, bombastic productions. The former combines Vangelis-styled interludes that almost border on prog with the sort of big-room dubstep Joker has been pedalling since time immemorial. The latter strips out the drums to create a hazy, overwhelming ambience. Trust us this is NOT the sort of thing we were expecting form a new Joker 12"... killer!?
