Actress x London Contemporary Orchestra present their debut collaborative album LAGEOS, making good on performances at the Strelka Institute (Moscow), Barbican Centre and Tate Tanks (London) and the three track EP Audio Track 5, released in September of 2017 that expanded the arrangements of Actress's dark and brooding electronica into a fully formed live/studio project.

For LAGEOS, the LCO (London Contemporary Orchestra) recorded the individual instrumental parts as stems before sending them to Actress to manipulate, giving the project a truly collaborative feel, while protecting it from being pigeonholed in with the 'classical musicians covering techno tracks' world that you could be forgiven to assume it's an extension of.

Not content with just piecing together new puzzles though, the LCO has crafted out reinterpretations of Actress classics including the Thriller/Splazsh bubbler Hubble and R.I.P. highlight N.E.W. both of these versions have left us falling for these tracks all over again.

While the older tracks refreshed create a strong urge to dive into Actress's rich back catalogue, LAGEOS leads our ears forward in to the future, and creates another jewel in his glistening discography.
