Everyone’s favourite Sheffield indie band who aren’t Pulp are back with their first LP in a half-decade. So wide-reaching is the popularity of the Arctic Monkey's that they could release an album of field recordings and drones and it’d still sell by the shed-load, but chances are that Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino will see the band expanding on the desert-disco of 2013’s AM. Alex Turner continues to set new standards in ridiculousness every time he returns to the public eye, but at least he still appears to have maintained a sense of humour if song titles like ‘The Ultracheese’ and ‘The World’s First Ever Monster Truck Front Flip’ are anything to go by.
