Following on from releases on Wania and 1080p in recent years, Canadian producer LNS has chosen to self-release her latest EP. The link to DJ Sotofett and the rest of the Wania/Sex Tags crew remains strong, however - apart from the similar artwork, this EP comes with a remix from fellow Wania artist E-GZR and was mastered by Ronny Plosen. The A-side shows several similarities with the Norwegian sound, with both ‘Recons One’ and ‘Wasp’ emerging as leftfield techno/electro/acid jams. However, LNS spreads her wings on the B-side with three ambient techno entries that range from pretty Vangelis-ism (‘Eons’) to staggered, lurching groove tracks (‘July Rain’).
