Despite thirty-five years in the game, Roger Eno still hasn’t lost his appetite for seeking out new sounds. On Dust Of Stars he teams up with legendary producer Youth for an LP that is still Roger Eno, but more so. While these nine tracks are all in styles Eno has worked in before - mainly glacial ambience and elegant piano composition - the additional work from Youth has lent the record an air of cinematic grandeur. The pieces reference the likes of Ralph Vaughan-Williams and Humphrey Lyttelton, and they are rendered with such widescreen vision as to suggest the post-rock of a band like Explosions In The Sky.
