The Steve Bicknell renaissance continues apace with this new three track EP. A pioneer of the UK techno scene in the 90s and early 00s, Bicknell took a nine-year break from releasing between 2005 and 2014. Now firmly back in the swing of things - try the EP he and the rest of the L.S.D. group put out on Ostgut Ton in 2017 - Bicknell has struck while the iron’s hot here. Mind Patterns contains three more pieces of visceral acid techno, all of which are shrouded in an additional fug of reverb and distortion. ‘Vein Injection’ is a particularly freaky aural assault.
