Following in the tradition of Anticon's best artists, but going further in an electronic songwriting direction, Son Lux makes songs with a backbone created from Anticon's patent mix of odd electronics and hip hop beats, with atmospheric and honest song writing fleshed out with sumptuous instrumentation, piano, organ and other instruments, while lead singer Ryan Lott sings out fragile and almost androgynous.

It's a lovely, consoling album and Son Lux is an exciting artist for Anticon.
