First time on vinyl for these wildly eclectic sounds from Matthew Folden aka Dual Action. These tracks were originally released on Folden’s own tape imprint, his home for mutant jungle, dub, house and techno style club tracks as well as gnarlier dark ambient. Proper fit for Hospital as you can imagine. Head straight for track three for a look into Folden’s world, swirling kosmiche ambience and weirdo synth noodlings make it one of our picks of the lot. Barely audible monolog samples float underneath the surface. ‘Keep the Change’ is another one that stood out, industrial style slow-mo warm up business. One of the best Hospital things we’ve heard in a while!
