Genres
Long time house and techno producer from Belfast debuts on Optimo with three variations on African percussion rhythms. Despite being friends with the Scottish DJ duo for years, Polyrhythms marks his first collaboration with the Optimo camp and the EP was even made with them in mind. Ghanaian drummer Thomas Tettey Annang lays down an assortment of non-Western rhythms whilst Kieran delivers a club-ready angle. Big shout if you like the downtown punk funk sound! Think Konk et al with a fat modern twist.
