The content of two reproduced live shows from 2017 make up the crux of new Suzanne Kraft release on No ‘Label’. Opening with a sonic shimmer that obscures a female spoken word sample similar to Fatima Yamaha’s ‘What’s A Girl To Do’, ‘U Kno’ continues to pulse with more celestial delights, constant chimes on ‘Vast Mute’ exacerbating the rhythmic tension at the heart of the piece. The B-side track ‘To Make A Stone Weep’ rubs acoustic instrumentation against digital sound, providing moments of release and temporary frictions. Extended version of ‘Accelerate Me Wildly’ offered on the B-side.
