Things are heating up in anticipation of Daniel Avery’s new LP. Following on from January’s excellent Slow Fade EP, three of the cuts get the remix treatment from Surgeon, Actress and Inga Mauer. Surgeon, as ever, takes to his task with clinical precision, turning ‘Radius’ from dawn-chorus rave revivalism into a Hi-NRG bleep-techno workout. Actress - dropping his first remix since the release of the AZD LP - channels more of the smoke-shrouded techno that served that album so well for his flip of ‘Slow Fade’. Finally, Amsterdam up-and-comer Inga Mauer drops a spooky remix of ‘Fever Dream’. Time to get excited.
