Innervisions’s Secret Weapons series gets into double figures. Secret Weapons Part 10 is another collection of serious dancefloor tackle from Dixon & Ame’s label. Generally the tracks here lean into the sort of melodious tech-house that characterise the mixes of the label bosses. The likes of Aera’s ‘Moon Palace’ and Ditian’s ‘Far From Here’ spool out their synth motifs over chugging minimal drum takes in a manner reminiscent of Levon Vincent. In the middle of the record we get its most diverse material - Arian 911’s ‘See U In 2050’ is a largely drumless synth opus that recalls parts of Kraftwerk’s ‘Autobahn’, while Underspreche’s ‘From The Exotism To The Future’ is probably the toughest DJ tool on the album.
