British label Toi Toi Musik strike big with a new collaborative 12” from ubiquitous party chief Ricardo Villalobos and prolific Argentinean former boy band singer Argenis Brito. Despite what sounds like a surprising meeting, if you look into Brito’s back catalogue it becomes evident that his classical training evolved into writing dance music in the early 2000s. These two Pol & Pox tracks make use of thick, chugging drums and psychedelia-infused vocal cut ups to create a real Fabric and 7am kind of atmosphere. It’s all about the A side in our books.
