Rabit’s Halcyon Veil imprint drops the first collaborative work by DJ Haram and Moor Mother. Trailblazers in their respective fields, the five tracks they have made as 700 Bliss see the pair both streamline and expand their respective sounds. On Spa 700, Moor Mother’s poise and power meet the streamlined flows of the clubsphere that Discwoman/Club Chai-affiliated Haram operates in. When they offer tracks for the dance (‘Ring The Alarm’, ‘Scully’), Moor Mother’s on-mic intensity pushes them into another realm entirely. At other times - the first half of ‘Living’, for instance - Haram takes her production and sound design to new heights.
